I can't say that i've been following the British GT series this year, but looking forward it I'm quite excited from what i've seen of confirmations for next year so far, with Chad Racing and MTECH confirming in the last few weeks.

Although there was some good racing in 2009.....in terms of the number of cars that entered this year, I do not think next year could get much worse!

It would be nice to see them return to Thruxton. Always used to be supported by a healthy number of spectators but it wasnt on the calendar in 09.

Aaron Scott & Craig Wilkins back for 2010 with their Viper according to British GT official site. Hints in story of further "announcements" over the next week. Does all seem a bit more positive than this time last year.
I'd have put a proper linky thing direct to the story if I knew how!! Sorry......but if anyone can help a dodery old duffer with zero techy skills it would be appreciated!!

"We are in the middle of a complete ground-up rebuild, looking at every area to improve the car and rebuild it to a much better quality."

I find this confusing... how can they improve the car when it's spec is nailed down by the homologation?

I suspect there are a few tweaks that can be done to improve any car, despite the homologation. The fact the Viper isn't the latest spec of GT3 machinery might also play a part.

In terms of 2010, things are looking up with the 430s, the Viper and the Audi for selected races. The Aston Martin joining as well is welcome for variation and with Stuart Hall as one of the drivers it should be quick.

British Gt is looking very strong for 2010 and the new gtc class will attract a few runners

Anybody know roughly what the costs for a seat would be in the main GT3 or the GTC class for 2010 in a Porsche Cup S or 997 cup car
