Yep, mostly marshal Brands with an annual pilgramage to Le Mans, but netwise I mainly inhabit another place (shock horror).
I know of a few others that inhabit pistonheads infrequently.

If you find the other place give yourself a score of 10/10

i do about 7 or 8 sprints a year, there are some regular marshals who post here though, notable combemarshall aka lee who will no doubt be along in a minute! there are a few others but there names escape me!

are you a regular or eager to join the fun?

MSA training? thats new to me. Training is normally done by the Marshalling clubs, not normally the MSA, which club have you joined/what circuit will you be doing your training at?

Doing some research I came accross this www.marshals.co.uk/training.php on the MSA website. Don't worry I am going to join a motor club when I find one. I want to do rally marshalling more than track stuff.

I don't do rally marshalling, but for circuit marshalling you don't actually need to be a member of a club - you just need a club to act as your 'primary' club for grading purposes. Having said that, I'd advise you to join BMMC - it's purely a marshalling club & enjoys excellent relationships with all the clubs which organise meetings. On the subject of training, it's a bit late in the season, but there's a lot to be said for getting a couple of meetings in before you do the training day.

I realise that, as you want to do mainly rally marshalling, the above isn't of much interest to you, but we need all the marshals we can get on the circuits!

OOPPS! Not quite a Minute!!!!
You doing the Sprint at the end of the 21st?

SO where are you thinking of Marshalling, where do you live?
Training day at Combe this year is on April the 1st, I think there is a warning there somewhere, Email me, or Cheif Marshal Nick on afawdington@hotmail.com and she well tell you all you need to know!

I'm off to the Toca meeting at Silverstone this weekend, look out me on the tellebox!

Talking of Sprints, they are a great way to start Marshalling (same goes for Hillclimbs) as any incident is dealt with under red flag conditions.

Welcome aboard!

I used to be part of the group known as The Canaries that marshalled the startline for Rallycross at Brands and Cadwell in the 80s and early 90s - famous for wearing yellow rather than orange.

If anyone's got Bill Mantovani's book "Go Rallycross", I'm on the cover!
