EDIT: You've completely misquoted that. Actual tweet was:

"Keke Rosberg can also claim an F1 first today of course: The first F1 race winner to see his son win an F1 race."

Which I believe is certainly true
Ah, an important exclusion.

Meant to say whose father was alive to see it. Graham and Gilles were no longer with us when Damon and Jacques did the business.

Random fact: Keke Rosberg is now the first F1 race winner who's son is also an F1 race winner.

This was retweeted by Legard earlier.

Now that is correct. Sadly Gilles and Graham didn't see their sons win.

I wonder if we'll see a father who sees his son win, who is the same nationality?

Father and son racers - http://en.espnf1.com/f1/motorsport/story/31079.htm...

didn't mention Jonathan and Jolyon Palmer and JP never won and race in F1 and Jolyon hasn't arrived yet.

New Lewis is looking more likely to get another championship than the feisty Lewis of old already, despite not winning a race. Great news for the team.
I think his overtakes today showed te skills we know he has but a bit of wisdom (as MGJohn regularly commented he needed last season). I'd say we haven't lost feisty Lewis but have lost impetuous Lewis.

Awesome race today from all the drivers - all that scrapping and bugger all controversy and crashing.

Agree... All clean racing, and bloody good fun.

You just saw it today. Nico has dual citizenship. He has both German and Finnish passports. Nowdays he races under German licence, because it´s commercially more attractive (as said bt Keke).

Great article (if a little lightweight). Thanks for that.

I'm surprised that there is no mention of the Mansells though.

All of those mentioned had made it into F1.

On the forum, EJ reckons people shouldn't blame the tyres entirely for Kimi's sudden lack of pace.

Apparently he's rusty and he lost concentration! rolleyes
Eddie is there for entertainment, I don't think many take what he says seriously. The look on Coulthard's face when EJ comes up with these gems is priceless.

That's a pretty tedious fact of Legard to tweet to be honest. All the interesting points he could make after today's race and that's the one he chose. The man is a fool.

Just watched the race again and Edwards voice doesn't grate on me as much as it did the first 2 races.

And yet no win. Maybe Lewis has realised that consistency gets you points, and points gets you up the leader board?
i think that's what he's aiming for. good result today for LH considering the 5 place advantage over his teammate and main WDC competitor that he earned in qualifying was eliminated by the penalty.

He did well, especially in traffic, considering last year. As for the penalty, it is the same for everyone. JB suffered from a gash pits top, so both drivers suffered during the race.

He certainly wasn't as shouty in race two as he was in race one. Somebody must have had a word.
