Nice race, with some great battles. Collard V Shedden was a tad close to a big'un!
Looked like some kind of failure for Cook, barely scrubbed off any speed at all.
Yea I thought shedden was going off with that incident but great racing between 2 long standing btcc racers. Something went wrong there for cook mechanicaly didn't take of any speed.Looked like some kind of failure for Cook, barely scrubbed off any speed at all.
Oh and another finish for nick and ahead of stuart lines.

I agree that access would be very difficult but don't understand your other comments. It now has modern pits and race control, and the circuit is the second widest in the country. Plenty of over taking places.
Probably more suited to a Britisg GT meeting though, in terms of spectator numbers. Would look awesome on TV.
The best circuit in the country in my view.

There are plenty of overtaking opportunities at Anglesey, especially the International layout. More than at most circuits currently used.

Believe what you like, world rally cross is cleaner and fairer.
The race to the first corner is bit frantic but the rest of the time they keep it clean.
You cant compare wrx to btcc that's just idiotic. Have you see any of the races this year and last year very few deliberate contacts has happened yes you have racing accidents few nudges etc which is what makes it exciting just like rx.The race to the first corner is bit frantic but the rest of the time they keep it clean.

Run to the first corner aside I never think there's that much action in rally cross. They seem to gap out a lot after the first lap and or just run bumper to bumper a lot. The race to the first corner is bit frantic but the rest of the time they keep it clean.

You have to wonder at what point TOCA say, enough is enough:

Vital parts for engine reliability upgrade not been delivered, overseas supplier let them down.
Wouldn't be a problem if they just ran a Swindon engine like the other small teams. Wasn't last year's absence also because suppliers couldn't supply?
Are there teams waiting for a grid space?http://www.btcccrazy.co.uk/btcc/welch-motorsport-t...

If not it doesn't make any difference if Welch have paid there entry fee.

I thought she was going off to do single seaters as that's her preference.
Yes I think you are correct that her preference was for single seaters, but the reason given for leaving the Ginetta series was definitely budget sadly. Its like watching team hard again.
Welch have gone from one mess to another with trying to get there own engine to work which hasn't worked out, given the Swindon spec engine was meant to help teams like this I don't understand why they decided to go against it. The proton is a bit of a dog and an old one at that time to move on I think.
Back to the current rd 1-2-3 for bmr great result and Jordan in 4th maybe getting into the grove with mg and it looks so good in the chrome.
Shedden problems down in 16th will he do a plato and try and aim for good grid in race 2.
Well done goff on his first race win and the I think 9th race winner this year awesome job. Great weekend for bmr and plato back in the lead by 15 points. Horrific weekend for Honda one to forget.
Next up knockhill bmw should go well here and may have the audi a4 up the front as its a good track for them.

So with knockhill being the next track on the calendar what cars are going to be up there making the biggest moves in the points standing. Its been a bmw track so expect to see a strong showing from all 3 bmws and do reckon on atleast 2 wins for bmw with priaulx and tordoff. Again rob Austin is always fast for some reason here along with rockingham so there best chance to get good points.
Honda could go either way for them they need a good round here after the last event. 888 with the mg don't really like the track be interesting to see how Jordan and goff get on. The big part will be the passats think this might be there boggy track for them.
Knockhill always throws up harsh racing but some of the best 3 races of the year.

Going to be interesting next weekend as the track is going to evolve through the weekend F1 style. New surface just been laid in the braking and turn in zone for Duffus, entry to Clarks and braking zone for the hairpin.
It'll rubber in gradually, but if (when? ) it turns wet, could be interesting.
Didn't know about the new tarmac being used. Has the layout been altered with wider track at places or just a new surface. It'll rubber in gradually, but if (when? ) it turns wet, could be interesting.
