Hi all,
I am going I've always wanted to go to the 24 hours.
Does a general entry ticket allow access to the paddock? Also is grandstand Access free also?
The website for the worst promoted race in the world has tickets for sale (nothing else on it mind), 32.50 euros for 4 day entrance, 63 to include paddock access, no mention of grandstands so I'm assuming they're freeI am going I've always wanted to go to the 24 hours.

Thanks for the info. It all sounds good. Getting tempted!

I got a reply saying:
"We will have French, Dutch, German and English commentary on track."
Not sure if thats going to be on FM or just online, but atleast there is a chance to follow the race.
I did tweet radio le mans, and Eve replied saying they wouldnt be commentating from site, but hadnt ruled out doing remote comms, so if that happens, it will be via Tune In or some other internet service.

The tannoy system last year was mainly in English. I don't recall seeing any mini radios on sale or people carrying radios though so don't think there's any "radio Le Mans" type thing. I got a reply saying:

Irrespective, it's a great weekend. Watching them go up eau rouge at night is brilliant.
Does anyone know if the Wednesday night drive into town still happens? I remember from a few years ago speedhunters said that the cars drive into spa on wednesday night. Im arriving weds afternoon as the tunnel was about £35 cheaper weds, so would be good to have something to do in the evening.
Looks like shane van gisbergen will be in one of the mclaren's.
Should be good to see how he does at spa as his stint at bathurst was epic

Awesome news. That Bathurst stint was indeed epic! McPhillany Park, where he attempted that manoeuvre is an incredible sequence of corners as well. The TV doesn't really do justice to the camber and undulation change. Certainly my favourite point on the circuit to spectate. I hope we see the Bathurst 12 Hours becoming one of the world's great GT races (if it isn't already). With the right global support it could become a must-do for drivers and teams and might open up opportunities for more European GT drivers to compete in the Bathurst 1000 as co-drivers well - as per Al Buncombe this year.
Back to Spa...based on this year's formbook to date, it's hard to look past Parente for pole and an early lead with the #7 Bentley to work its way into contention. You can't discount Audi and Mercedes over this kind of distance though. WRT wouldn't be a bad punt for a potential win as well.

Blimey, they've put some info on the website, whatever next?

The guide to the race on the Blancpain website says "official circuit radio" will be available on 106.5FM.I got a reply saying:
