What the hell have they done to the circuit. It is suppose too introduce over taken, could someone point out where about that is going to happen, because I cannot see it. And to make matters worse, it was the best part of the track.
I think it's to slow the cars down just before the final straight so they can follow closer into the straight and overtake into the firs corner.
It's not worked for the GP2 cars, unlikely to work for the F1 cars either.

I have to say this season is exceeding all expectations. Even the qualifying sessions are exciting. Is it my imaginations or are all the cars moving about quite a bit more this year?
Very noticeable in the new chicane, a lot of cars kicking the back end out as they turn left though it.
The tyres arnt as good as last year, and are also not being tailored to the circuits as last year. There are now 4 fixed compounds and constructions, two are selected by bridgestone for each weekend. This will mean at some circuits the cars will have less mechanical grip than at others, so in the slow corners in particular you will see the cars moving around more.
I've been in Barcelona for the last couple of days with work, so a colleague and i decided to pop along to the circuit for Friday Practice. Never seen F1 live before, so was looking forward to it. Sadly disappointed when we got there and found we couldn't buy a day ticket, you could only buy a pass for the whole weekend for around £200. Is this standard F1 practice or is it just the Catalunya circuit that does this?

"This is better than nothing! I am happy today, but I was struggling to avoid losing time in the final sector where it is difficult to avoid losing time.
"That part of the has been redesigned and it has different asphalt, so it is different for us, but it is the same for everybody."
A bit of a Confuscious moment for Kimi. "That part of the has been redesigned and it has different asphalt, so it is different for us, but it is the same for everybody."

Kimi does tend to go into auto pilot and the phrases come out in no particular order

what time does the www.formula1.com live timing stuff start?
Just before the race
I mean, there isn't much timing to report before the start.

you'd think I'd have got that - given that my job rotates between Italy, Germany, Ireland and the UK every week...
I put it down to the weekend...
But bugger - near the start as "Mr C'ck" has started bibbling...
