Thread reading fail, so I'll ask a different question.
How come some teams only have 1 driver?
Teams had to nominate at least one driver to post their entry (apart from those who had earned an invitation through various 2009 achievements) All will have three for the race How come some teams only have 1 driver?

Not sure why it is considered 'sad' that few of the new spec GT1 cars are on the entry list. Given that their GT1 World Championship races are sprint races, I would be very surprised if any of them even finish the race anyway.
Don't be so cruel. The new GT-1 Championship is now a sprint race for a TV package with numerous teams planning to do a variety of 24 hour races throughout the season.I have just returned from Portugal and the series this year will actually be very exciting. Watch out for the launch and the exciting 2010 racing.

I believe the Jaguar might face some scrutineering difficulties
I think that's putting it mildly for the Jaguar if RLM are to be believed (and why shouldn't they).groomi said:
They've been given two opportunities and wasted them both. How many more chances should they get?
They won, fair and square, an entry to the race by winning the Asian series, against a quality field who were all out to win that automatic entry. Agreed, if they perform to type again this year then one would hope that questions would be asked and their entries frowned upon, but this year they have an invite on merit.Nobody bemoans the Signature Plus entry, ever, it seems, yet they have been at the centre of some of the most ludicrous driving standards in the past 2 years. It could even be said that JLOC are safer as they're not actually on the track.

On the GT1 front I believe all of the cars will be running to "new" GT1 rules i.e. the same as FIA GT World Championship.......which will be interesting to see how the GT1 spec Corvettes stack up against the factory GT2 cars!
The ACO have incorporated the FIA GT1 cars into the Le Mans GT1 class along with the grandfathered 'old' GT1 cars. It'll be interesting to see if any of the FIA GT1 cars make the finish as if they need modifications to compete in an endurance race rather than the little more than qualifying sessions of the FIA GT series, the ACO have said they'll need to be re-homologated.belleair302 said:

It's a disgrace that they've been allowed back yet again. One look at their pit garage is enough to see that they aren't even remotely serious. A wasted entry that should go to a team far more deserving.
It's a disgrace if the entry was based on last years showing. However, their entry is based on their performance in the Asian series, which they won against quality opposition.I'll be the first to condemn them if they return to form, but I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt based on most recent evidence.
They'll screw it up now, won't they!
I for one hope they turn it around .. always love the sound of a Lambo.

Perhaps a ring side seat at scrutineering in the place de jackobans ..
You might be a bit lonely. It's in the Place du Jet d’Eau this year as there is construction work in the Place des Jacobins. The ACO also want to move it to the Sunday before so that more people can attend (even though the Place du Jet d’Eau is smaller).
