If true I'm not so sure MB is up to the job as lead commentator, bring JA back I say

Better combination! The only possible draw back is DC's unwillingness to raise his voice so we can hear what he's saying over a passing V12.
He's very mono tone but has a good knowledge base, if MB is doing most of the talking then fine.

Legard had his chance but the general consensus has been that he's ste. Sorry Johny boy.

God I have that poxy Crash.net website - too many pop-ups, ads and random stuff that doesn't let me read the f'ing thing!

Anyway - surprised. As posted by someone else, I'm not too sure about two ex-drivers who will both surely have a propensity to analyse rather than describe.

I can't believe they haven't given David Croft a shot, who is fantastic.
Why have they got to describe, you have your eyes to see what's going on! It's not radio.

At least now we'll have 2 commentators that know what they're talking about.

Exactly. You don't have to talk all the way from lights out to flag.

I would have preferred David Croft or Ben Edwards replacing Legard if I'm honest, but I'm just glad that Legard has gone.

I think this is a good thing - crofty will still be on the red button, and I like the choice.

Brundle is great, I hope DC manages to keep his red bull hat off more than on, but since there is no rivalry between Brundle and DC, hpefully there shouldn't be any bickering.

Now, my next wish is to ditch that shortarsed syruped bellend Jordan, and it'll be brilliant!

Interesting pairing. Not sure how well it will work although i hope it works well. Not too many weeks to wait to find out.

Personally i would have stuck the wonderful Mr Jordan in with Mr Brundle, put a camera on the wall & then taken bets on how long it took Martin to throw Eddie out of the commentary box window!!!

Is there any confirmation or is it just a page of speculation?

When they say DC surely they mean David Croft not David Coulthard.

Great news. A bit surprised with DC as a choice. I think MB has been doing a lot of lead stuff and when DC and MB have talked during this year when they bring in DC during the race they seem to work well. Have to wait and see. They should get a load of PH'ers to watch a trial run and listen to the comments!

To be honest I think he will be quite good, he isn't that bad when he is with Jake, although there would be no one to take the piss out off EJ frown

Although I think Karun would have been a good choice if he confirmed no seat for next year, knows the sport inside and out like Brundle and he did excellent commentary this year in some of the practice sessions
