Not only does the shoemaker prefer odd numbers, he also prefer the car with the better set up, therefore Nico will bend over for that one as well.

He also prefers to crash into people rather than actually race them. No doubt he will have reminded the FIA of his preference already.

My mum has just phoned to say last night, and on his 30th birthday, Frome Town Council voted to make Jenson a freeman of the town and he is having a bridge named after him. (It's the rickety old one at the back of the town car park)- he must be thrilled, what a present!
The bridge that's currently closed because it rotted where they resurfaced it with soft wood?
Good effort Frome.
There's nothing like showing how proud you are of the most successful contemporary son of the town than naming a decrepit, condemned bridge after him.

Maybe they're hoping that, by doing so, he'll then pay for "his" bridge to be made good? smile

Knowing the stupidity and naivety of Frome Town Council, I wouldn't be at all surprised.

David Coulthard accidentally invented the woodworking plane when he tripped over in his schools sprung floored gymnasium. The fine shaving that his chin took off the wood gave him the idea which is now patented in over 100 countries.

Red Dwarf's "Kryten" is moulded directly on a face mould taken from Micheal Schumacher. It was stolen from Madame Tussauds by Heinz-Harald Frentzen after Schumacher stole his girlfriend. In Germany, Red Dwarf is seen as a serious snub against Schumacher and was banned from broadcast in years that he reigns as F1 champion. Odds are currently at 3/1 for Red Dwarf to be banned on German Television for 2011.

Fact! wink

Loving this thread! (I only found the forum when looking for gay f1 drivers rofl )

Have to voice my disapproval of this:
"Bernie Eccelstone is a woman with down's syndrome"
(Some things aren't funny, sorry.)

But loving the rest.

One of my favourite F1 quotes is from Sid Watkins' autobiography which says something along the lines of "The only driver with whom I could not get along was Didier Pironi. I saw him after a race, when he had a bang to the head - but it did not improve him."

Michael Schumacher's chin used to be straight, but after years of racing it started sloping off to the side due to the high G forces that he has endured during his F1 career.

His brother Ralf left F1 racing as he didn't want to suffer the same "injury".

David Coulthard managed to escape such an infliction.

Bernie Ecclestone has never robbed a great train, or trained a great robber nor grated a robbed train. His highly polished skills for bending people over and extracting as much money as he can from them were honed as an east end car salesman. The wily Bernie noticed that Ford Anglias had the biggest profit margin, so he bought every single one that he could and only ever sold them. After years of this and dabbling in the driver management game, he decided that with all his Ford Anglia based profits, he should buy a Formula One team.

Once, long ago, a racing team did not get penalised after following Charlie Whiting's advice. Nobody knows what team it was as the records were partially destroyed in the Great Fire of London.

Bar a gimp who only raced a couple of times, John Watson is the only F1 driver with a 100% overtake success statistic, for moves caught on camera.
