Good news, and better late than never! In all honesty this is what should have been done when they became the promoters. The platform was there, they just needed the will to put it in there. Maybe they've finally realised there isn't the money or the market for selling TV rights, WRC+ subscriptions, etc Having free coverage may gain more followers....

Its amazing how quickly they refit the rear diffuser after knocking it off all the time!Allyc85 said:
The Yaris looks like the Hyundai did when it was first testing in 2013, wobbly, poorly damped and waaaay off the pacehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjCgBfApLyQ
The Citroen is in a different space time continuum :

2017 should/could be Meeke's best shot at stealing the title off SO....
Interesting that the Citroen diffuser looks to be made of rubber, you can see the vanes wobble on bumps. Perhaps not as aerodynamically efficient in ideal circumstances but should be more forgiving of getting knocked around.
The Toyota has been looking much better in the recent test videos with Latvala driving, but I agree that it probably isn't on the same level yet. Will be very interesting to see how the cars all compare in actual competition anyway!

I've dipped in and out of WRC for the last few years now, it's just failed to excite me like it used to. But this year is completely different! The coverage is going to be decent, and the cars look and sound spectacular. It's fair to say that WRC has taken one step closer to being great again.

Hard to make any meaningful comparison from watching test videos of different roads/conditions/weather etc, but it is fun.
