2 weeks to completely build a new car
That thing's FUBAR. I got to watch part of race 1 and all of race 2 but unfortunately MOTORS TV seemed to cut off before playing race 3 (I was watching the replay, not live). Need to check the calendar and make sure I set the Sky+ on the race weekends if it's being shown. I too think the Volvo looks fantastic and was smiling crazy watching the last lap of race 2.
8 days until Melbourne V8's:
All local times.
Thursday:
13:30 Practice 1
16:10 Practice 2
18:00 Qualifying
Friday:
11:00 Race 1
14:25 Race 2
Saturday:
15:20 Race 3
Sunday:
13:15 Race 4
Note: There is a small, unexciting support race being run in Melbourne the same weekend featuring 1600cc/battery powered open wheel cars.

Looks worse than it was. Relatively gentle roll, slide and bump up in the air off the tyre wall
It is worse than it looks they are scrapping it.On Motors TV again this afternoon @ 16:50 and tomorrow morning @ 11:35
Watched the first two races on YouTube this afternoon. Great noises, interesting commentary, but above all some great racing - this is now my new favourite series
I like the level at which the TV presentation is pitched - it's much more fun to watch than the BTCC, the cars seem to move around more (and obviously have a lot more power), but the commentary/graphics/interviews aren't too American - I love NASCAR but I find it hard watching an entire race in one go, whereas I was hooked on the V8s for over 3 hours today.

Well the opening three rounds of the V8s from Adelaide were pretty incredible!
Like many others I'm struggling to find consistent UK viewing however. Shame Premier Sports have stopped covering.
Does anyone know when Motors TV are due to cover the Melborne V8 weekend (live 13th to 16th March)?
Even my wife wants to know!
I'm considering subscribing to this:
https://www.v8supercars.com.au/v8live/schedule
if Motors TV coverage ends up being sporadic or significantly delayed.
Cheers.

Motors TV is more consistent this year. Same-day delayed coverage and quite possibly live coverage of more events too. The Melbourne V8s are non-championship and aren't shown on Motors. It's covered by a different TV company in Australia and doesn't have the same broadcast rights. But you will find it on Youtube.Like many others I'm struggling to find consistent UK viewing however. Bernie's got Melbourne well sewn up and won't allow outside broadcast of V8 racing this weekend in case F1 viewers discover motor racing that makes F1 look incredibly boring, the Sky TV providers keep quiet about it and just don't advertise V8 Melbourne coverage at all.Very hard to find a way to watch it this weekend, as long as you're not in NZ try Foxtel Go/Foxtel Play.
