Sounded that way, she’s clearly class of the field. Garcia and Koyama got stuck in to things, which was good to watch
I thought it was pretty decent tbh. A few races in with everyone getting to grips with stuff and it should be good. Tbh I have no issue with it being all women either, given most motorsports tend to be defacto all men.
"With the wording underneath and the podium on top it looks absolutely beautiful doesn't it?"
Errr... It looks like a Slough trading estate...
That wasn't too bad to watch, as everyone has said the commentator was hopeless and the production team not much better, but early days. The racing was more interesting than F1 at present!

But they are not all men because of the rules. Chadwick has raced and won amongst men as has Powell and there are other women racing today in top series who are holding their own.Tbh I have no issue with it being all women either, given most motorsports tend to be defacto all men.
Personally I think it's a very bad idea but it is great exposure for the women in it especially as it's the only live motorsport on a mainstream channel in the UK these days (Yes I know about BTCC but ITV4 is not mainstream, it's not even HD for many people).
Like I said I found it dull but open wheeled racing on tracks as wide as a motorway with massive run offs doesn't nothing for me anyway so I'm not the best judge.

Understand why it’s been put together, hope it provides an opportunity for those competing in the series. Kind of wish it wasn’t necessary though. And that talented women racers we’re getting the kind of drives, sponsorship funding and support they deserve. Based on capability and results. Some of them already are, of course.
That being said, whoever wins the series. Is going to be able to rock up to a team or series. With $500,000 worth of funding. And that’s a great opportunity to push your career on

The TV presentation manage to turn it into a new level of boring, were there actually any spectators at the circuit?
Agree, presentation needs some work, let's hope they can learn from it and the delivery gets better. But there is the potential,l and hopefully Brands will be an interesting finale. Good to see 2 British Drivers on the podium. Congratulations winner Jamie Chadwick and Alice Powell. Marta Garcia at 18 is looking good for more podiums too.
I would have preferred David Coulthards commentary as the lead. The other commentator really had no idea at all. Still, lets hope she learns from Coulthard.
Other than the sound issues at the start of the programme, that was alright. If the commentator can stop saying everything is historic, that would be good too. In the race I expected Chadwick to sod off out front, so the lock up and wide corner made more of a race of it. Garcia and Koyama looked good though.
From what I can work out, the Alfa turbo 1.8 in these is 270bhp, more power than the regular F3 car with the 2.0 Cosworth engine.

Quite enjoyed it tbh - i reckon it will develop / improve over the the next 5 races both in on track action / commentary & presentation.
Bit unfortunate that nobody responsible for the broadcast seemed to be aware that for a fair while, during all the important intro / promo of the driver selection process, they left the circuit mic feed(s) open and all you could hear was the tannoy, engine noise from the cars still on circuit, etc.
Rather unfortunate scene at the end with the rather hurried podium celebration. I know they're probably trying to get things done before the next DTM support race was due on circuit, but i'm not sure the female PR / W Series representative held themselves in a good light when they grabbed hold of Marta Garcia by her arm and then shoved her in front of the other two drivers to get her first in line to head to the podium. Then shortly afterwards realised that somone else had managed to hand out the 1st & 3rd place Hankook caps wrongly and proceeded to yank them off Garcia & Chadwick's heads before thrusting them back in the correct order.
I think one problem is that C4 / Whisper are obviously limited on what can be broadcast (similar to FE with just the race itself on Quest / BBC online), and once you take into account the ad breaks & race distance itself you're not left with a massive amount of time to cover much else. It would have been nice to have got interviews with the other drivers after the podium.
