Not sure it is Oulton, there isn't that degree of rise going out to Island, its down hill if anything, and there isn't that much grass on the inside of Knickerbrook before you get the 'brook.

All IMO.

Can't be Croft as that was shut at the start of the 80's and not re-opened for circuit racing (non Rallycross stuff) until the middle 90's. Plus I don't recognise the fence as being from there!
yes

I didn't see you at that meeting wink.

MrsS and I were there and still have the programme too. smile

Spot on.

I think the first picture is heading down towards island, it's just a strange camera angle which is giving the impression of a more uphill incline than there actually is. The giveaway is the sign on the right marking out the tight right of the island circuit. The second picture is at Knickerbrook before the chicane was put in post Warwick's accident.

Nah, that's a real 935 and looks very much like a K3. With that in mind I'd say that's John Greasley, who went on to form G-Force, who later campaigned the various Blue Coral 911s in GT racing.
Yep, John Greasley and a fair chance that's Bill Taylor at the back in his RS

here are a couple of frame grabs from another part of the tape - these are a few seconds apart and are definitely the same place/day

These are definitely Donington but could well be my late Dad driving. It is Steve Cole's car run by Herman but Dad drove it twice at Donington around 1987 and I have pictures from both and they are definitely differant days as differant race numbers. I know for definite one was a race as I was there, the other time could have been a test day, which these pictures seem to be from.
