Johnny Herbert collects hair straighteners.
Eddie Irvine owns 3 industrial estates (which he rents to TV and film crews) on Alcatraz island.
Gaston Mazzacane used to run around each circuit with his helmet on with his arms stretched out as if steering before each race claiming it was the best way of learning a circuit.
Jody Schecter was born in East London.
Jean Alesi owns a holiday complex on Exmoor and regularly has the privalely owned Porlock Toll road closed for him to give his road going World Rally Car car a blast.
Mika Salo's Ferrari car was adapted to suit his preference for the throttle being controlled by his left knee.
Before Ralf Schumacher got into a race car he always vomited.
Bertrand Gachot, after spending time in prison for assaulting a taxi driver, ghost wrote 4 romantic novels.
Nigel Mansell's home on Jersey doubles as a jail and a condition of ownership is that someone is always available to make tea for visiting solicitors.
JJ Lehto drove his F1 car from the circuit to his apartment after the 1990 Monaco GP but embarrasingly got it stuck in the underground car park. It remains there to this day.
Esteban Tuero competed in the 1998 season with Minardi after blagging his way into the team - he was not a racing driver at all but an investigative journalist - and his superlicence was revoked after 6 races.
That's how you make a first post!

So if it's not Raikkonen and there seems to be an underlying thing going on about LH's probability of enjoying female attention then it must be our Spanish friend.

Good man.

And I wonder how many of us are frantically trying to find out if these are indeed true... It's got me wondering about some of them!

Including that one.

On a more serious note, there was a story about Wolfgang von Trips, who was killed in a crash, together with 15 spectators, at the 1961 Italian Grand Prix. This person claimed that von Trips was doomed anyway, because the aircraft he'd been booked to fly home on, crashed later that evening with no survivors. Somebody else then said it was bks. Any idea who's right?

(I've heard there was a gay F1 driver, one who no longer drives but is still seen on TV - but I heard this a year or two ago.)

Well, I know, for sure, that written on one of the RSJs in the roof of one of the Silverstone pit garages are the words 'Coulthard is gay'.

That this is written there is a fact. Whether what is written is factual seems unlikely..................

Nelson Piquet Jnr has had his testicles botoxed. Hasn't helped.

Flav has had his lips botoxed. Hasn't helped either.

In a recent comparison test,it was proved that M. Schumacher has an IQ of 93, whilst N. Mansell has an IQ of 459.
