Well done wokkie on the amd drive the s3 is one of the nicest looking cars on the grid hope it goes better than the protons. Going on from the protons what is dan welch up to this year heard rumours of keeping the same cars to a focus from motorbase?
Cheers! Bloody hope it does! No idea, don't talk to anyone that's still at the team, I'm sure they'll manage to drag something together

No probs at all, obviously! The permanent chaos of that year pretty much precluded anything sensible or organised so we should manage something a bit better this time round!

Anyway I was more or less permanently pissed off that year so it wouldn't have been much fun unless you could handle half an hour solid of bitter sarcasm!
Oh I don't know, I've never known of another driver mill round a wet, cold, mucky campsite just to say hello to a bunch of drunk people with only a picture of a battered Peugeot for reference! Best of luck for this year smile

Posers the lot of them rofl

I've upgraded my buggy over the winter with knobbly tyres so at least I'm less likely to narrowly avoid sideswiping a parked car on my way back!!

Cheers thumbup

Only team I can think that might be interested in the cars would be Welch motorsport

There's only 30 TBLs in common distribution and 2 loaners.

My understanding that Handy Motorsport acquired a 2nd TBL in Jan? With Belcher taking a sabbatical and bringing in another driver?

As Marc said, those plans were shelved to the TBL went back to TOCA

As above with Simon. There were firm plans in place to build another new Avensis with the old one taking part in the first three events, but I believe they were unable to put a deal together with the driver Simon had in mind.

Great news with Ollie being back on the grid thumbup

Really looking forward to seeing what Rob can do in 'our' car!

[quote=The Wookie]I've had a good look at the car and all the ingredients are there; it's light, it's longish wheelbase, it's aerodynamic, it's got a willie poole shell so is stiff, and it's got a Swindon engine with excellent cooling. I remember it being a rocket down the straights even when Robb Holland had it, so there's nothing wrong with it in a straight line.

Well Wookie the season has not even started yet and you say you have a longish stiff willie so I am sure you will have a great season and wish you the best of luck.
