Bloody Porsche tried to take out the Leading Viper
Are these the two vipers that theyre trying to get into Le Mans this year?http://sportscar365.com/lemans/lemans24/riley-targ...
Would be great if Riley could get one there. Missed them last year. Its a shame the SRT isnt getting the same backing as the likes of Corvette. They're cracking looking and sounding cars.

Don't call Hindhaugh a Geordie, he's from Sunderland!
One voice you can hear who is doing the lapcharts, distance info, etc. is Paul Trusswell, he is known for staying awake and at his post for the whole of a 24hr race.
Graham Goodwin (Editor at dailysportscar.com) & Jonny Palmer (who is a local BBC radio DJ & reporter) are currently on commentary duty. With Jeremy Shaw & Joe Bradley (another Sunderland lad) in the pits.
Daytona is massive, the stands are only ever full for Nascar races, however the infield is packed with cars & RV's which will have multiple occupants all probably huddled around a fire at the moment as it gets very cold there!
Love seeing the cars on the banking in the dark, very special.

he SRT Factory cars were running in GTLM last year, they won the class where then SRT closed down the racing program, Ben Keating was running the GT3 Viper Exchange car No33 last year and now this year has been Joined by the 93 car running in the same class, I think it will be the 93 car trying to get to le mans, but I know Ben Keating would love to drive there.
The ACO might need to extend the entry period so that they can get more paper in to print off the list of exemptions that the Vipers get/got for entry...In all seriousness, what will probably be a slightly lower profile entry than 2013 might do them good if they get in.
From sportscar365.com:
'...most recent full-course caution, due to a heavy accident by Francisco Longo in the once-class leading No. 64 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia GT3. Longo spun on oil laid down by the No. 44 Magnus Racing Porsche 911 GT America of Andy Lally, who had hit a possum, which struck through the car’s radiator.'
There are photos of the possum on Lally's Twitter feed if you really want to see them!

Andy Lally's Porsche had some trouble earlier. They hit something the track, and eventually found the problem under the bonnet... https://twitter.com/andylally
They got running again, without the passenger.
