Watch the video. Not sure if it is my imagination or wishful thinking but I think it starts running out of the neccessary towards the end of the lap..

I said the same thing in the other (short) thread. He doesn't seem to accelerate as quickly out of the last two corners as he did when he was starting the lap. It could be down to Toyota fitting the absolute minimum number of batteries though.

I love how the article completely glosses over the fact the car is actually a Radical, with Toyota supplying the electric drivetrain, despite even mentioning the Radical as being the petrol-powered record holder.

I don't understand how the car compares favourably with the lap time of th petrol radical considering it's a minute slower. A specialised electric racer seems to compare with a standard petrol gt car?
