Cool - all that time reading books on the turbo cars paid off!

Not sure I'd want my feet in that Renault tub!

Isn`t it also true that the BMW blocks were weathered outside and the engineers used to urinate on them because they had a strange notion that it would strngthen them? I`m sure I`ve read that somewhere!

What isn't a myth is the fuel brabham/bmw got hold of to run them at über boost, supposedly very caustic and dating back to a type used in ww2 by bmw. Interesting story which I hope someone can clarify
It allegedly included a highly volatile benzene derivative, namely toluene, as in trinitrotoluene [TNT].
