one of the reason's they are protesting, & one of the particular reasons they detest the idea of the GP is that none of their number would be allowed into the place even if by some small chance they could afford to.

then, even if they could get in unknown to the security forces do you have any comprehension of what they would be risking by doing so? torture? imprisonment? murder? & not just of themselves, what about their families? children?
there's an awful lot more at stake for these people than some paddy nutjob in fancy dress you know

Err, what? Surely the complaint is that the GP is a very high profile case of glossing over massacres et al in the eyes of the world whilst their countrymen are being killed. That it won't say, 'no, what's happening there is too unpleasant, we won't be part of the regime's business as usual'.
