Monaco GP 2013 - parking.
Discussion
Hi all,
Lucky enough to be heading down to Monaco for the Grand Prix at the end of May however was not able to book accommodation early and am now struggling. Consequently I wondered if anyone on here had experience of how bad the parking is? If we were to wander in a 8am on race day... is there a decent chance of finding a space? Or is it a crazy idea?!
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: spelling!

Definatly take the train the station is right above the track maybe a 5 min walk down hill to the main grandstands just about above the swimming pool.It is cheap to use. From Nice they put on special trains that only go to monaco station and the route is very senic.Hang around the bar at Rascasse after the race there are about 500 people there to party with , last time i was there Kimi and David Coulthard were there having a beer and chatting to people like me.Half hour after race you will be able to walk all round the circuit and they start pulling down the barriers within an hour of the finish. After the bar at Rascasse walk round onto the pit straight and you can watch the teams loading the cars onto the lorry's which park along the finish straight to be loaded.Red Bull have there floating swimming pool and offices moored up just opersite the Rascasse Bar so that makes a good watch with a pint, as all the packing up is done there.Food stalls under the grand stands was basic but affordable a cheese ham baggette was 6.50 euro
Im lucky enough to be going as well. I've been quite worried about race day getting to grandstand K from the station, as I have cerebral palsy and can not walk far, especially if its hot (which it will be!) but from the sounds of it, from the station to grandstand K should be fairly easy going?
Just got to hope i can wangle a seat on the train now! Probably got no hope of that

My experience of the train (2010 race) is that it's full of good-natured fans, and I'd be disappointed if loads of people, recognizing that a fellow-passenger is struggling, didn't immediately get up and offer you their seat. So hopefully your fears in that department will turn out to be unfounded, and things will go smoothly for you. Good luck, and enjoy the race.Just got to hope i can wangle a seat on the train now! ks! Just managed to find and book a hotel in Juan Les Pins. Everyone on Reddit told me it would be a living hell.
I have no idea either, but the croissants sounds good
