Hamilton has been born with pure natural talent. As has been said, he's got a great team and a fantastic car behind him, but this boy's ability, determination and strength, will definately win him races and become a world champion of the future.

well racing is clearly in his blood now, having been doing it all his life, you could arguably say hes got as much experience as many of the other drivers because most if not all of the teams have got a new car to play with at the start of the season.

I will watch this season with great anticipation, i really believe he has a fantastic chance of winning one this year. Indeed if his strategy and start had been better in bahrain it could of been his for the taking, still 2nd place is not to be scoffed at!

On the other hand i feel so very sorry for Jensen. He has promised so much for many years, and now Lewis walks in to the perfect car in the perfect year (i.e. no schuey) and takes all the limelight. I recall he is tied into a long contract with Honda, so we may never see him win another GP.

And on another note, how good was DC!!! Adrian Newey has no doubt been worth every penny to Red Bull. If only they had been able to get that Ferrari engine contract, they could have been serious BMW worriers.

Best season in years nuts

Yeah DC was awesome! Good to see him driving like that. Would have been very interesting to see how much better he might have done if his car hadn't had any problems.

Feel very sorry for Jensen too. I bet he can't believe what's happening, especially with the promise he and the car showed last season and winning a GP. Can't see him getting anywhere near the top 3 either.

Definately a time when F1 has become attractive and exciting to watch!

Lewis Hamilton has all the hallmarks of being the next Ayrton Senna. He has won first time out in all the championships he has ever raced in and you don't do that just because you have the " right car at the right time!". Jensen is unfortunate to be in a team in transition but once they get someone in who knows the game not that silly japanese fella he'll be up there again. Remember talent doesn't go away!

Red Bull had the Ferrari contract and fought tooth and nail to pass it over to Torro Rosso so tehy could use Renault engines. Apparently they believed that they would never be 'allowed' to beat the factory Ferraris whereas Renault have a different attitude.

Yes, just as Lewis single-handedly showed Ron the light and led his 2,000 disciples to the promised podium, Jenson sacked all the staff at Honda and brought in the Andrea Moda team of 1992 to take over the factory.

I'm sure that once Ron Dennis sponsered him he had more than money. How much training has he been given that other drivers simply can't get?

Maybe nursing a sucessful kart racer from an early age is the new way to win at F1.

You're not forced to click on the thread. Really surprised by the amount of bad feeling in this forum.

I think you'll find that the bad feeling is most certianly NOT aimed at Lewis himself, simply the obsurd amoung of comments hailing him as the new Senna of F1 after just three races...

Let us simply sit back and enjoy his driving skill and all try to keep a level head about us

What's starting to really make me angry is all the people talking him up and saying he's a "new" driver, All the hype is really winding me up, when he won gp2 last year I didnt see him an BBC sports personality, just the horsey bird, ffs he was a world champion. Then you've got all the hype about how Ron discovered him, come on I bet after the scouts found him Ron didnt even hear about him for years. Then you've got that Vodaphone ad, he's still a rich kid who's dad had the dosh to help and support him.
