That is quick. I only heard they were replacing the 350z in the Super GT series watching the last race the other night.

But then again I don't watch them too often.

Thats what i've always thought - the Super GT and GT1/GT2 rules aren't that far apart afaik. It can'e be that hard to modify them to meet ACO regs.

They're totally different rules, unfortunately. European cars can be modified to suit Super GT rules, but they're less than ideal against the home-brewed specials. Making a Super GT car comply with ACO regs would present a few huge headaches.

Nissan tried a GT1 Skline as long ago as about '95, but it wasn't suited to the long, flat out blasts of Le Mans.
