People were saying that about the "holes" on the floor, as though they were something magical. The engine mapping thing was only an issue last weekend. They were pretty darn competitive in Valencia (at least in Vettel's hands), when they had neither holes nor special engine maps. I think it will be a non-issue, and any drop (or increase) in performance this weekend is just business-as-usual.

The slots in the floor were the perfect red herring. Colin Chapman would have doffed his cap to them.

It allowed RB another couple of races with the "traction control" map.
