Timo Glocks signs the deal today - so they are a alot drivers playing musical chairs
but only 4 sears left

Adrian Sutil is under contract to the former Spyker team for 2008 but they are rumours of a seat at Mclaren also Ralf Schumacher, Fisichella, Liuzzi, Klien and Fairuz Fauzy are all up for those seats !

Think Force might be in a good bargaining positioning !!

Renault also have Kovalainen, Piquet Jr and Alonso, You'd think that Flav will want Kovalainen and Alonso and keep Piquet as the 3rd driver
but Alonso won't sign until the outcome of the Renault spying case is heard

So maybe De La Rosa will have a race seat at Mclaren ?

Hey Flemke

I can't see DLR getting the seat either - but surely Mclaren won't take on an unproven driver like Sutil - ok he's respected but he's never been really tested

Fisichella and even Schumacher seem more likely signings ?
They'll need someone who's got the experience

What about that Spaniard - Alonso - hear he needs a seat for next year

I think everyone said at the begining of this that it would be a straight swap with Alonso for Kovalainen and by Flav's comments today, that would seem 99% confirmed

Still don't see Alonso signing until the Dec 5 tribunal is over and done with

so sick of the FIA BS - biased, unjust and it's proven time after time
How can you have Flav and Bernie as business partners and then have a neutral governing body

Over on Alonso's "fan" site, they ran a survey and 33% of his worshippers still think he's going to Ferrari in 2008 and pushing Massa out(despite a contract). Their latest news item is that an "anonymous" engineer at McLaren has said they are already missing him as he was such a great help blah blah.

Yep if you read between the lines of the internal politics at Ferrari - i wouldn't be surprised if he's already signed up with Ferrari for 2009.

Braun leaving - Todt getting pushed out - I think even with the FIA backing, Ferrari are heading back to the bad old days (or good depending on yr point of view) of their typical Italian business / sporting ways - no offense to Italians - i love the place - but I'd never have a business there.
