Has Alonso found the sweet spot again...

Alonso tops test in last year's chassis against the other teams running their new chassis...
I wonder how much different in speed the new regs have made the new chassis for 08, and if that was the real factor behind Alonso topping the charts, or maybe Renault were showboating for PR sake.
Either way, I can not wait to see what Alonso can do in the new chassis as it looks very much like he's back into his comfort zone, and despite what many on here may think of the guy, if he's in the 'zone' and Renault are able to give him a stonking good car he's going to be hard to beat as he has so much to prove to all the 'red top' followers of F1.
As to the real followers of the sport, he's got nothing to prove to me as you don't become back-to-back double champion by luck or chance, especially when you are up against MS in a Ferrari
Come on Renault, kick some corporate ass again this year...

That made me smile! The tiny corporation that is Nissan Renault against those corporate Force India and Super Aguri guys.Renault are no less corporate than any other team in the pit lane when it comes down to it. They just like to paint themselves as the 'small guy' against the Mclaren/Ferrari oppression.
Quality not quantity is best and I think Renault are pretty good at that.
