I am planning a mini driving trip (not in a mini)jester to Scotland and back. Im planning on camping (to keep costs down).

Im going to travel up from Oxford and stop off in the Lake District, as I Know the roads around there are something special. From here I am then planning on travelling North, possibly to Edinburgh? idea But then I dont know where the good pure driving roads are in Scotland. driving

Can anyone suggest some of the better roads in Scotland, as well as some of the ones to avoid! bounce

The roads in the Lake District are OK (I moved from there), but the roads in the north west Highlands are something else.
