Liquid Yellow Exige V6
Discussion
After selling my BMW 1M last October, I decided that it was time to go back to Lotus. So, after a lot of planning, help from the Lotus Factory and the wonderful Bell & Colvill (Jamie Matthews), my Exige V6 will be ready to collect this weekend! In anticipation for this, I was sent some photos that I wanted to share on here.
The spec is different to others in that I've had it painted in Renault Liquid Yellow (my favourite colour on a car!), with Phantom Black (a gloss black) painted on the spoiler, front splitter, rear panel and side pods.
The interior has had special treatment as well and has been trimmed in alcantara with yellow stitching to match the seats. The steering wheel has also been re-trimmed using the same materials and thread and that will be fitted by the dealer when they collect it tomorrow.
Finally, the car will be fitted with a 2bular exhaust, complete with 100mm carbon tips for a bit more of a sporty note!

Looks great! I can't believe Lotus are still using the column stalks from a 1005 Vauxhall Corsa though!
Jesus, you're right! :OChrisBuer said:
I'm hoping to be having too much fun in it to get too worried about the indicator stalks
How about the Rover 100 wing mirrors? It seems they've removed the Ferrari F40 (also Alfa 33) dash top vents my Elise had though. I do remember finding a Rolls Royce label on the number plate light so there are a lot of premium parts in the Lotus armoury. Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
