Well I'm hoping this is the last of the parts I needed powdercoated but now they are back I have now refitted sump to engine and timing belt cover just got to wait for waterpump and can fit belt and time up.
I have also cracked on with my anal jack refurb (think I have issues) but it looks like new hope I never get a puncture aswill be a shame to use this and my wheel brace.

I've saved and restored as much as i can but its allways hard when you are doing a full nut and bolt restoration as you just want to change bits for new.

The wheels on it are just so it can be moved around the correct wheels are the 16inch split rims that I've had refurbished and will be fitted when car near completion.

Not a big fan of the vents and they were only a option anyway and only really serve a purpose on the tt.

Progress has slowed a little due to waiting on a few bits and work commitments but I have managed to pull most of the wiring looms through the car and also fitted a remote central locking system to car using the original solenoids. I have rigged up a power supply to the car to check a lot of the wiring and happy to report very few issues so far. I also took the time to re dye the fuel tank and filler neck. I have also fitted most of trim to rear of car although not tighten up yet as still got rear speakers to fit.

I'm away with work for next few weeks but on return I will crack on with the copper fuel lines as braided pipes already fitted and fuel pipes I have also fitted all the new gear linkages with new bushes all from baker bm very impressed feels good already and not even connected to the box yet.

I have started to refit the dash and this has raised a issue with my powersteering as my motor is where the ecu is located a complete oversight by myself so will fit a standard coloum for moment until I can rethink the idea.
