There's room for another engine upfront there Chris
Have you recovered from our trip towards the tyres yet?
re engine, yes i though that but i dont think the diff will cope with this engine let alone another with it!!! lolHave you recovered from our trip towards the tyres yet?
as for our small off at oulton, what off ! had far worse ! had a great day thanks to you and Mike
So today, i got the rad in with all the water pipes, the electric fans on, wired up and tested, the fuel lines conected and tidyied up some of the engine wiring plugs/relays. I have been and had the oil cooler pipes made and the powersteering pipes should also be ready tommorow morning, the oil cooler is mounted so it should be just a case of conecting up the pipes, putting some coolant and fuel in her and firing it up for the 1st time
all ihave left then to do is sort the clutch line and clyinder out, bled up the brakes, tidy up the fuel lines with some clips, located the enegine ecu securely, sort out the new switch panel, refit the cage, bucket seat and harness and it will be ready for a test drive so in all just a day or 2's work! lol

It has brakes now, well a firm brake pedle, not sure the actual brakes will be much good
Should be ok with some huge AP racing ones mind.
Clutch line installed just the clutch cylinder to put in the box and connect to the line and it will drive hopefully !
so just a few little jobs left
fit clutch cylinder and bleed
fit brake bias adjutsment thing
Refit cage, bucket seat and harness,
Make and install new switch panel / consol
Fit battery kill and cables
Fit coilovers
refit bonnet and bootlid
Test drive
Job done !! well for now anyway !
Switch panel fitted along with battery box, battery cables and fuel lines all clipped up.
Will be fitting the new clutch cylinder this afternoon and bleeding that up, then its just a case of putting the cage, drivers seat and harness back in and then she is driveable. oh I better put the bonnet and boot back on before a quick trip up the lanes

Clutch done and works, so we made a make shift seat and took it for a lap on the gravel carpark outside our workshop
its removed most of the gravel from the car park and dougnuts well too, and all this bellow 4000rpm, its accelerates like a loon and thats before the m3 engine gets into its real powerband between 6000rpm to 8000rpm
Its beeing remapped tommorow so should have around 330-335BHP then aswell as a higher red line at 8000rpm or more if mike dares !
