I love this, using it for everything already! Even better biggrin
Haha thanks. I know some people would look down at using an Aston for such "mundane" duties but hey it was designed as a daily driver afterall.

I’ve taken the olive harvest to the mill last week in mine!
Almost as practical as a good old Land Rover! smile

Amazing! What a car. My personal opinion is your white one looked better. But nobody can deny the 707 is a total beast.

Heavily jealous.

Have Aston copied the Ford kuga or is it the other way around?

That has to be a unique 2 car combo.

I don’t have any of me loading the olives in mine, I posted a couple of my car in the Aston section as this is Nat’s (excellent) thread and I don’t want to hijack it.

You are correct, the NSX went back in June. Incredible car but tracking it so often meant serious bills and unfortunately it did show its weight when pushing on hard(1750kg). Supra is a lot lighter and has more aftermarket if I want to tinker. Also much lighter (1490kg).

Thanks for all the comments RE the 707, it’s currently at the detailers getting a full coverage of PPF. So it’s going to be a long week!

Pics of supra?

Plenty has been said by the media about the positives and negatives of the Supra.

I think they look fantastic. One lives local to me and it has me staring every time it drives past.

Love the wing Nath.

Thanks!

This is my second mk5 supra, Toyota updated the car for the 22my with lighter wheels and suspension, steering, bushing tweaks. So it’s a lot sharper than the original launch cars.

I know people use the BMW connection as a slur but honestly the car is better for it. Plenty of power, noise, handling, tuning & exclusivity to turn me away from the typical Porsche option.

Aston looks lovely, saw a black one close up last weekend.
Loving the Supra too, very nearly bought one but stuck with another GR....the Yaris.
randomly...I also own a couple of 5 digit V9 plates!

This is “cool car thread”.

Love the Astons, LOVE the NSX! And the Supra, not a fan of the looks of the new one…. But those few mods (and notably the spoiler in particular) totally transforms it to my eye and looks fabulous!!

Great stuff. smile

Ooopps apologies if I cut you up! Chester is very local to me so you’ll see me a lot around there.

RE Daytona, that was a gift over 10 years ago so I promise you it’s not a flex.

Yes the NSX has got the Science of Speed gloss carbon deck lid spoiler. Mine sadly did not have the factory carbon spoiler which bizarrely is matte carbon, despite the car having a gloss carbon roof.

Yes the DBX is deceptively large. It doesn’t feel it when driving casually or spiritedly but it is a smidge over 5m long.

In response to the “why not a V8 FFRR”. Never liked the look of those cars and tbh with the amount that get stolen, I’d rather not risk it. I know that sounds stupid with an even more expensive car but they are a target. Also yes not sporty enough a drive for me.
A Daytona as a gift? Where do I get one of those biggrin - It does look lovely

Been an interesting read

Switched the 707 onto my winter wheel & tyre combo today(Pirelli Scorpion) A downgrade in size from 23” to 22” but now temps are around 4c here it makes sense. I’m running summer tyres on the 23”s(P Zero).

Not the lightest wheels around! Some good pics of the front/rear brakes and suspension too. I was worried the TPMS would need configuring at the dealer as the wheels were on my old car but nope worked straight away!

Summer tyres on 23” forged wheels

Winter tyres on 22” flow forged wheels

I prefer the look of the alloys without the chrome/diamond cut edge.
