I think there's a point when you have too much power and it's not useable.. and Jamie's gone and found it.. at 4 digit figures
Consider that the turbo F1 cars has as much power but less than 50% of the weight and zip all traction control No wonder you're backing the power off a bit Jamie. Still an absolute crazy car.

Around a decade ago I was reading an interview with Alois Ruf Sr. He said they do not chase numbers for the sake of it when tuning thier cars, unlike many of their rivals. Instead they build a car to go as fast as possible in the real world. So in many cases their more usable lower power (presumably with higher torque) engines would blow away on paper higher BHP rivals. I suspect it translates that a drag car may not be the fastest thing on the road. Food for thought
