One of my favourite cars on here this just lovely! One question with these though, is there no openable window? Love driving in summer with windows down and fresh warm air wafting in!
Thanks. No openable windows on mine. There's a small "helicopter" vent in each window that can adjust to ram fresh air in. It's a bit like a goldfish bowl inside in the sunshine so a/c is usually full on. Some folk have made the windows as removable items that detach and go behind the seats and obviously the CanAm versions come without a roof and can have high or low side screens.
Ah I see at least have a bit of fresh air feeding in! I think the convertible versions loose abit if the ‘racecar’ Look without the sloped rear section would be great to see a targa top style one. Most certainly top of my lottery winning list!
Edit that, just been mooching on their website and they do a targa top! Still has the lower rear section though.

Noise level for MOT? Dare I ask.... (I don't care, just wondering )
Just MOT'd without any issuesNoise level for MOT? Dare I ask.... (I don't care, just wondering )
To be honest tho, I was a bit self conscious when turning up for the test and made sure I didn't press the noisy pedal too often.
Mind you, I got sent a small video clip of me leaving a car meet recently with the car just ticking over so I didn't sound too much like a hoodlum. Apparently it's a fairly brutal noise. I think I like that

Lack of traction control, stability control, launch control or even abs mean that anything other than pointing it in a straight line and going from normal speeds to very fast speeds very quickly without spinning the wheels takes a bit of skill. I need to work on that bit. Might be easier to be a bit more "spirited" when the roads aren't so damp.
Seems to get positive attention tho, which is nice. Once I get over the slightly embarrassing limbo dance and long-jump combination needed to get in and out of it then it is quite comfortable.
Proper car then. Absolutely love it. Enjoy and stay safe Seems to get positive attention tho, which is nice. Once I get over the slightly embarrassing limbo dance and long-jump combination needed to get in and out of it then it is quite comfortable.
Living out in the sticks means mucky roads in Autumn and I'd previously SORNed it over the past couple of winters but forgot to do that so took it up the driveway and out for a run today.
One thing that always surprises me is that when you actually get in the car and get the harnesses on it really is a fairly comfortable place to be. Admittedly you can look a bit daft getting in and out... but when you're there it's grand.

Have you done many miles in it this year?
It's a great car, I'd love to have one tucked up in my garage.
This year has been embarrassing. I drove it 15 miles to the MOT and back, I did a round trip of about 100 miles to a car show in June and then yesterday's run of a couple of hundred miles. My insurance renewal came in last week at just over £220 so I can console myself that it isn't costing much not to use it. Must do better tho. It's a great car, I'd love to have one tucked up in my garage.
