Wow thats one big mother of a turbo ya got there Javansio!
Bet that baby shifts.
What stats you got to whet our appetites??
Cheers sirhc , the turbo is a Garrett GT4088R (0.68 A/R hotside) modified by Precision. I'm hoping to nudge 600 bhp when fully mapped to 1.6 BAR. Upto now it's pulled 470 @ 0.8 BAR, then 570 @ 1.25 BAR. It produces positive boost under 2000 rpm, 0.5 BAR by 2800 rpm, it should produce full boost (1.6) by 3300 rpm.Bet that baby shifts.

I've got no 1/4 mile / top speed stats at the mo but will be taking the car to rwyb events to get some official times (it'll all depend on how good my launches are ).
That engine is a Rover built, Rolls Royce Meteor. Its a 27 litre V12 petrol engine. It was built by Rover, under licence from Rolls Royce, from the mid forty's to early fifties. It is a tank engine and was fitted to, amonst others, the Centurion tank. It is basically the same engine as the Merlin, fitted to Spitfires in WW2 although there are some differences. The Meteor had the supercharger removed and some of the lightwieght parts used in the aero engine were made from cheaper heavier material. It has twin magnetos, 2 pugs per cylinder, two HUGE Zenith carbs. Fuel consumption is not easy to estimate, but suffice to say its HUGE!
