Nice car there Adam...glad all is going well for you . Your first was always destined to be an Italian car....I know these well as one of my ex's had 2 of them in a row.
Good pictures too...shame that passing your test didn't involve learning to park though

Big SLK....I wasn't aware I was driving a convertible??
It's better than that Maserati I had, thats for sure. In fact, everything I've had since my last Italian car was better than that!
I thought your SLS was a conny, my mistake. It's better than that Maserati I had, thats for sure. In fact, everything I've had since my last Italian car was better than that!
As for your second point i completely disagree, my least fave was the Blue XK with Black wheels.
Maser was the best sounding car though by a country mile

But no young sir....I speak from experience when I say that both the Jag and all my AMG's (especially the AMG's) out-sounded the Maser. The Maser was possibly the loudest but the best quality sound? Far from it...it was actually quite one-dimensional when you got used to it. It's all subjective though - sounds appeal differently to people. And don't even get me started on build quality and dynamic comparisons - I was so desperate, utterly desperate, to get out of the Maser that I 'downgraded' to an M3, which was anything but a downgrade for anything except, perhaps, for brand image and cost.As for your second point i completely disagree, my least fave was the Blue XK with Black wheels.

The blue XKR-S that you didn't like (admittedly, it is quite a polarising colour and design) was probably the best all-round car of the lot - it punched well above it's price point. A highly underrated car which people only realise when they drive one (me included...I'd never have considered an 'old mans Jag' until I won one for the weekend!)
Anyway, how you enjoying the Sporting.....I bet you're poncing about with your City mode on aren't you

City mode, use it all the time i think i have only used it once and that was due to some d!ck parking too close at Sainsbury's; i am rather enjoying the Punto, 95bhp isn't bad for a first car but roundabouts in the wet = lift off oversteer In an ideal world i would like to upgrade the suspension set up but i then think there isn't much point as it will not stay with me forever. Hoping to get something more "sporty" next year which will be a weekend car and then swap the Punto for something else at a later date (end of 2014) sub 4.5k and fun (Cooper S, Fiesta ST etc....)
