Thanks Neil. Quite rare to see a saloon in estoril. Thinking about getting a new 3 series in that colour. Love it!

Yes mate. Sound good. I'm away most of July and August. Get something sorted in September. Very little in it between my 3.0 and an e46. Has the savings pot?

I am saving pretty well, took a dint when I renewed my car insurance last month and had to spend a little on the car, tyres, service, new rear springs and MOT. Insurance is looking a no no though for next year, too young by the looks of it unless you know of any "cheap" companies. I have though about an EP3 Type R for next summer circa 4.5k and an M3 the following year, the job and money is looking good so touch wood no problems there but a Civic is no M3 smile

My mate with the 46 has paid a huge amount, 4.5k for the insurance !! and 10k for the car which is mechanically spot on. Having been in it the other night it did not feel much if any quicker than your 3.0, I think the small power figure doesn't make up for the additional 110 kg.

Civics a good car. Cracking engine. At 21 you might be eligible for classic car insurance then buy a cheap daily . How about a Clio cup. Brill fun and cheap to buy. Think it would be cheaper than civic to insure.

The Clio has never got under my skin like the Honda, i am a bit of a sucker for Type R's anyway and as ABP are on my doorstep i am always looking at their upgrades for the EP3 although the Clio's represent mega value for money.

If i can insure one on a classic policy then i will be going for an M3.

Long overdue update. Group n oil restrictor fitted and decent brake fluid added. Did first trackday in August and the front tyres were shredded. Bought some spare wheels and had them sorted.

Big thanks to the lads at Top Marques Wheel Refurbishment in stoke. They've done a cracking job on these. They were in a right state. Federal 595rsr fitted. Excuse the dirty golf in the background. Nightmare keeping the daily clean at the moment.

They get some good reviews. Were very cheap at £78 each delivered so we'll see. How's the c4s? Bet you haven't driven it in the dry yet?

Yes its a pity. Will have to consult diaries and get one booked when you are about - my problem is that unless its school holidays its weekend only. How long you off for and when are you back after your next trip at sea.
