Awesome motor, love the colour and the looks as well as all the modifications to make it a sharper tool. I love that you are not scared to do that, and not overly concerned with keeping it "original". Drive it and enjoy driving it!
I owned a racing green XJ220 a good few years back, it was a Le Mans spec one.
Here is a photo of it:
I had one of those when I was at school! I remember going to the motorshow with my dad and taking snaps of the launch car in that colour scheme. I owned a racing green XJ220 a good few years back, it was a Le Mans spec one.

RS Phil - your life clearly hasn't worked out the way you'd hoped, and these must be difficult times.
I'm a selfless fellow. If I can help at all, by driving your old Jag for instance, I'd love to be able to help you out.
Just let me know; I'm here for you man.
Hook a brother up with the insurance payments and you're on :-)I'm a selfless fellow. If I can help at all, by driving your old Jag for instance, I'd love to be able to help you out.
Just let me know; I'm here for you man.

Be careful, I might just take you up on that! As an aside, as a glimpse into the reality of supercar ownership, what sort of ball-park figure does insurance for these things cost? I assume you don't just stick your details into a compariosn webite!

Sits just under 3k to ensure it. As an aside, as a glimpse into the reality of supercar ownership, what sort of ball-park figure does insurance for these things cost? I assume you don't just stick your details into a compariosn webite!

Wow, that's the exact one I had!!!
I had that as well, only mine was in silver.I can't recall seeing one on the road, ever, yet. Seen a couple at Goodwood etc.
OP, amazing, amazing car, I love it, as does everyone else on this thread.
Phil - do you have any photos of it with the lights on? Am I right in thinking they kind of swivel round length-ways?
