thanks Guys

yeah the manifold is custom. and so is the zorst. I am not sure on the zorst manifold though.

as for the loud pedal well I have only been messing about with the 300hp map (this is plenty) as it's setup for 95RON but as and when I am feeling brave. 99ron will going in for the top map. needs the LSD though it has a wee bit of torque steer!

I am very, very jealous of you! Your golf is absolutely stunning, if you decide to sell it at any point can I have first dibs?

Verrrry sweet. As a 2.8, must be one of the old Corrado lumps?
Corrado VR6 lumps were all 2.9. The Mk3 Golf VR6 had the 2.8 in it.

Nice car, looks rather understated, almost a q-car.

Would you be terribly offended if I'm a little pedantic about your reference to Foot-Pounds?

I'm assuming you mean Pounds-Feet, a measure of torque, rather than the former Foot-Pounds which a measure of energy (except sometimes in the US, where they get it wrong.....).

Unless of course you really are referring to Foot Pounds, in which case, ignore me.

Love it! As im sure you know that westy front end is worth a pretty penny if you decide to sell.

I think i would go for some Compomotives of some sort, maybe TH2's? The Porsche rims are far to showey for the capabilities of this thing!

I love the wheels plus it give the car an air of all show and no go. which is good for avoiding the boys in blue and upsetting porker owners

Whoops, intake manifold! I'll never make it as a mechanic silly
Thats the one. Looks like a modified or custom one by the looks of the welding.
It is.

The throttle body would normally be on the back of the inlet manfiold on a VR6.

That is such a fantastic motor smile

Whats the interior like, stripped out?

Like the 2 maps, but 300bhp is hardly a tame daily driver map is it lol! bet its a handfull when you want to be!

Its Stripped out with a mk3 dash board. its actually real tame when it needs to be the clutch can be a pain when cold that's all really as long as you keep it out of the boost. because as soon as that comes on you are very long way away from when you put your foot down.

Liking your car a lot! A guy up my road has a VR6 turbo (of some description) in a Golf Mk2 , it sounds absolutely amazing and must be pushing a lot of bhp!

Quick update. had a big moment last night under heavy braking! So after an underwear change, I found the compensator valve fully open!
A lowered stripped out MK2 with MK4 callipers on the rear and a fully open compensator valve. is the same as having a hydro drift spec handbrake, It would appear. anyway will get some photos tomorrow.
