Yes that's a good point.
Here's the modification list then:
Front splitter
Colour code front lower sections gloss black (matte grey at the moment)
Rear number plate and surround (probably remove the EU bit)
Alcantara steering wheel insert
Side repeaters
Rear Performance Parts Diffuser

No real modifications since but I've reached 25000 miles and it is still a fantastic car. I struggle to think what would meet my requirements better than this car although I should have been far more generous with the options list to make my life a bit better.
For those looking for an E92 here's what I would consider are decent options to specify:
Loudspeaker upgrade - standard audio is pretty basic
Heated seats - a must in winter with leather seats!
19 inch wheels - look great but maybe affect ride quality too much?
Bluetooth - obviously!
USB audio - should be standard let's be honest
