Lovely car. I usually have an inherent dislike of anything with a Ford badge but I now really want one of these.

Great cars and yours is a lovely example.

One of my friends has a Monte, very modified! I did some pics of it for him a few months ago and he took me for a spin in it, I have never felt power like it!

Lovely. Well done on keeping it on the original wheels, which suit the car far better than ANY aftermarket jobbies that you see on Escort Cosworths, including Rondells. Best of luck returning her to full fitness.

Dislike massively!

Love this car, even if it munched the diff and ruined your wallet.
Well done for using it properly!

Words cannot express how good it is to see an Escort Cosworth that isn't a garage queen. Utterly awesome & I blame you for the morning I lost browsing the classifieds.

The escort rs cosworth is one of those cars that i wanted like no other. After saving long and hard i eventually bought one back in early 2000 and can still remember driving it off the guys driveway, grinning from ear to ear like it was yesterday!I dont think buying any other car gave me such a buzz and i really did feel like the king of the road(early twenties at the time) but the driving experience was a little dissapointing to be honest. The car was standard and just felt a little underpowered and soft around the edges.

I sold it after a year and bought an EVO 5 which i kept for four years.

With thanks to all those who wished me luck in getting this fixed.

It is now back on the road with all the oily bits in the right place.

Pity i broke the front spoiler before i even got on the road as the alley to

my garage is way too uneven for a spoiler so close to the ground smilefrown

Will take some new pics this weekend probably.

Great car, nice to see it being used.

One car I'd like to own at some point, only thing that has stopped me getting one is that I think I'd be disappointed especially after owning Impreza's & Evo's for the last 8 years or so. Saying the escort cossie is a different class car and turns many heads.

Anyway keep enjoying it buddy!
