I've got a Kenwood head unit in my XJR, with a lead running into the centre armrest cubby to plug my iPhone into for music, and a microphone on the dash for the Bluetooth car kit.

Used a fascia panel from ::here:: and an Autoleads harness adaptor. Mine also didn't have a CD changer, and frankly I'd rather have the extra boot space!
