Lol thanks for the nice comment.

Its not a bad car, I've had my boy racer days (Focus RS) and now with 2 kids need a family car with more space - a bit more grown up.

see you have had some nice cars - cossies etc - I've always fancied a cossie - used to pop up to me local ford dealer as a kid just to sit in them - got so many RS brochures in my garage.
How . Big. Are your kids?

Very good.

Its more for the boot space as well realy, the amount of stuff you can get in the back (shopping/luggage etc when going on trips, rubbish etc when going to the local tip - been doing this lots lately as been doing the house up.

My father has the estate version but I think his rides on 18 inch rims.
Now that his has run in he can achieve over 60mph on the run plus his doesn't have the stop start technology so you having an ecoflex may get a bit more to the gallon.
His only gripe with the car is the handbrake as he says he would prefer a conventional one rather than a button as he says it grabs slightly when pulling away.
yes i agree with this - i have been out and about in it today around town lots of stopping and starting so i can really see the benifit of the stop start so should see more MPG.

Agree with the handbarke too but if you put a little bit of revs when pulling away it doesn't snag - it kind of releases sooner?

I had one as a hire car in 2010, as others have said i was really impressed with thte build quality.

I remember it had nice little touches such as red interior lights, it really was a nice place to be.

Whats with the title anyway?

Do we really need to know the wheel size of diesel repmobile?

I put the size of the wheels as I struggled to find any reviews of this exact car and wheels spec on the interweb so just helps other people who have or want the same spec.

Agree its a nice place to be, can't wait for it to be fully run in and the engine lossens up some more.

They have a new twin turbo version now, that must be like off a shoval

How are you getting on with the Insignia?

I was going to replace my Honda Civic with a Volvo, but I'm now not sure reading the company car allowance information i have, if I probably will need to get an Insignia or equivalent.

Absolutley loving the car, Went to local refuse tip the weekend and filled the back of it with a whole Kitchen to be dumped(put lots of sheets down etc to make sure I didn't mark the car) the boot with the seats down is massive.

Driving wise it handles really well and has masses of grip and great body control.

It's really economical too and the stop start system is great - its cuts in and out so quickly, when you are sitting their saving fuel and reducing your emmsisions makes you think why cars have not had this tech for so long - it should be standard on all cars!

The seats are sporty and hold you in postitoion when cornering hard and the brakes are powerfull and inspire confidence.

All in all i'm well chuffed with it.

can see you are an account manager too from your profile - what industry are you in?
