Any idea how much power it's putting out?
It made 290bhp and 295 ft/lbs at 0.8 bar before the bigger injectors went in. Was mapped on road above this by the legendary (in Renault tuning circles anyway) Scoff. The exhaust manifolds are very restrictive and I've blown 2 on rolling roads now so loathe to put it back on just to get a figure. It was still drawing more fuel as the boost went up so it's definitely making a bit more than that. I'd estimate somewhere in the 310-320 region with the torque at 330-340 at 1.2 bar.

Looking Good, always been a fan of these.

We moved house recently and on my first walk down by the River Nene, I saw this sorry sight...

I wonder what the owner has planned for it?

Very lovely car there.
Such a shame you can't get those Azev's anymore ,I would buy some for my car.
Some questions for you as I'm still planning the modifications to my engine.
Have you used the standard exhaust manifold on your engine?
Is your chargecooler in place of the intercooler as I can't see it in the pictures.

Best regards,

Bert
Yeah shame about the AZEV's I agree. I bent one a few months back and thought I'd lost the set because of it but luckily it was repairable. Have standard exhaust manifolds, which aren't ideal but were good enough for me to reach my target figure of 300bhp. Drop me a PM if you want any tuning advice, been there done it with these engines.

LOVE these! Was always worried about them rotting underneath, so never took the plunge. Seeing yours makes me regret not taking a chance!

Hi Andy been a member a while just don't get enough time to frequent really. If Ghandi wants to sell let me know, I'll be able to move it for him. Prices starting to rise quite quickly now there are so few good ones left, and parts are getting very expensive and hard to source. Tatty ones break for top money. £350 for a secondhand back light!

At the risk of upsetting Lotus Elan M100 owners I'm sure you're already aware that they are a source of rear lights for 1980's GTA's?

Really nice looking car. I always fancied one, they are different and very rare.

Have you got pics of the project you're working on?

Looks great.

I am still looking for a good GTA turbo, ideally a Le mans. If anyone knows of one, I would be interested smile

Very aware - you can't buy them for Elans either - the ones that have been sold recently have been listed as Elan lights, they just bought them off Renaults supplier who no longer has the moulds
