Sold in July to pay for a house deposit. Buying it back again at the end of November. Can't wait!!! smile

Kept the red seats as a reminder in the meantime! It's not quite so easy to drive a building round Silverstone, however...

E39 530dA *sobs*

Here, wearing it's 16" winter boots,

But also these, unmarked 17" for Summer, (spare was unused)

I loved the interior...some may think "Marmite!",

The Lux Govt, when they switched to emmissions based car tax, upped this from €50/year to €385/year.

I really miss my old Triumph Stag - HMY 479N. It was a genuine 1 previous elderly lady owner with a huge stack of history and in mint condition with I think 60k on the clock. This was back in 1990 or so. I still dont know why I sold it !

This was also a huge regret. Last seen in an ex girfriends back garden with blown engine frown

Browsing your photos on Flickr, nice mk1 and mk2. I've never seen someone put a license plate sticker in that location on a mk1, did you ever have trouble with the plod with regards to that? Or is it fine.

This (number plate was a trial to see if I liked the position)

Should've kept it, supercharged it, put an LSD in and tracked it rather than buying the VXR. Brakes were already upgraded, suspension was set up nicely, just needed a bit more go to make it a really good track car.

Seems to be a common theme with MK1 MX5s on here, the only car I really regret getting rid of was my MK1 BBR Turbo SE, just like this one for sale on the classifieds:

This is the one i wish i hadn't sold:

http://pistonheads.com/members/showcar.asp?carId=1...

Series 2 Escort RS Turbo.

Saying that had i not sold it i wouldn't have the 205 GTI i have now, but i still miss the RST frown

Thankfully it's still in the hands of an RS enthusiast and hasn't been written off/broken.

Just about every car I've sold in the last few years, due to bad decisions!

Which is why I'm resisting every impulse to sell the Mk 1 MX-5, I'd only regret it in a heartbeat.

Really regret selling, got her at a cracking price, 55K on the clock and FSH. Was upgraded to stage2 and running shy of 300hp. Had a set of staggered Gram Lights 57C's which I havent seen another set of. Sold it because I joined the navy and was moving away...idiot!

S1 Sunbeam Lotus, DWK81T.

...and it would have been worth more now than I paid for it 30+ years ago!

By way of introduction, here is the one I am still very sorry I let go. Owned it for a few years of my misspent youth back in the early 1970's.

Great Europa there!

There are some cars i loved that i wish i hadn't sold like the Gti 16v,Crx and the Gti 8v, but when talking for the car below i look back and say why the fk i sold this?

It was great fun and very fast at the time, seeing how rare these are now i regret my decision to sell it.

A black low mileage Fuego Turbo was sold for 10k on ebay 3 months ago, insane for how much money a decent one goes these days.
