Great stuff. Always liked your photos of the blue car, presume it was pretty sorted mechanically. Any reason to get rid rather than boosting the existing car?

So managed to find some time today to change the seats and doorcards from my other car.

How it was before I started -

started with replacing the doorcards to ones with a single leather doorpull, think they look a lot less cluttered than the ones with the pockets fitted.

and new ones fitted -

Next changed the cloth seats to some grey leather ones I had, a lot more comfortable than the old ones and look better too.

Once i'd removed the old seats gave the carpet a good clean out and came up good -

and how they look all fitted with the doorcards -

Going to order a new steering wheel next and change the brakes as dont really like how the Yellowstuff pads feel, think they are more for track smile

So managed to get some more bits done today, started with fitting a new stereo and door speakers as enjoy having some music to listen too, got these for xmas -

Didnt take any pics of them fitted but the Vibe speakers sound really good, great value for £20 from CaraudioSecurity.com

Then got a new Gear gaitor and handbrake cover from Top Gaitors with matching stiching to the seats and fitted a different gearknob I had -

Spent the rest of the day removing the TR Lane GPV Rollbar from my old car, and managed to get it into this car, still needs some holes drillling till its fully in but getting there smile

I had a JRSC '5.
T'was a lovely car even though it was a very low level of tune.

Cheers, if you mean the rear number plate I'm going to get an Eunos rear panel and move the numberplate back where it belongs smile

Great looking car! Well done.
Quick question tho, how do you get round the airbag w/light with a non airbag steering wheel? Now that the w/light is an MOT fail I have been put off changing from the std wheel on my Mk1.

Not sure too be honest old steering wheel had been removed before I got it, airbag light doesnt stay on tho, think you can put a resistor in to stop the light but not certain.

Have been having fun with the brakes, car was making a horrible Scraping sound from the front, turned out the front drivers side caliper had seized.

So took it to my local mechanic to get it fixed with a new caliper, new discs and pads all round, bottom bolt was seized on both sides on the front so needed cutting, so needed two new Brake Carriers, Mazda wanted £115 each lol never going to pay that, MX5parts had the same Genuine part for £67 each but ended up getting a couple off Breakers yard for £30 the two.

All fixed, can now brake biggrin

Also fitted a Jass Brake stopper, supposed to stop the brake servo & bulkhead flexing to give better braking.
