Super rare car purchase (Abarth Punto Evo Scorpione)
Discussion
The 0-60 times are actually quoted in "normal mode" so I'm told by the Abarth forum, in "sport mode" they are around 6.5 either way it feels quick enough to be fun. When new they were 23k let's just say what I paid reflected the rarity and I'm sure one day they might become collectable. I bought it to enjoy as I'm a petrol head not as a investment.
The supersport has the same 180 bhp but nothing else the scorpione has but you can spec it up (when new) with the sabelt seats, which a few have, floating larger brembos KonI shocks and 18" essesee lightweight alloys performance exhaust and filter but the additional cost would of been approaching 28k! The scorpione was built with all the extras plus special paint and a certificate of authenticity. The supersport is a great car though and still quite rare 162 according to howmanyleft.co.uk. Co. UK. I like the abarth as it's different to the usual hot hatch suspects not better just different
