Great car, some people love 996s, some don't, but most people seem to love the 996 C4S either way. The back end is just so nice. There's a YouTube video countering a lot of the negativity around the 996 and he claims the C4S might just have the best rear to rear 3/4 shape of any 911, and I don't think he's far wrong.

Love the fact you drive it daily. I'm not quite there in my 997tt but I'm getting closer

Awesome machine - and while the purists decry the 996, I think the C4S is probably the most usable variant of that stable in the real world. I have very fond memories of a "Top Gear-esque" run from Zürich to the UK via Reims in empty and crystal clear conditions with a pair of radios on French Autoroutes.

Enjoy!

Does anybody know why Porsche phased out the 'vented' rear bumper for the 997 4S? Also the red strip became a much more of an afterthought. I think that's why the back of the 996 4S looks good. Those 'vents' are only otherwise on the turbo which is why I think I associate them with an 'aggressive' look
