Got the brake light issue sorted...new bulb didn't work. New bulb holder didn't work.

Got a new set of bulbs. Old holder didn't work still. New holder did now!

Odd!

118,000 miles now. I've done 8,000 of them. Going well!

Like the look of these and would need the xdrive where we live. Is the 43 mpg your normal average? What sort of driving do you do to achieve this?

On a run down to Cornwall I got 55 with no issues.

Work runs are between 40 and 50, mixture of dual carriageway and bendy A roads. 25 miles but done in 30 minutes after lates or on my way in...

That's not too bad in reality.
Way better than the 33ish my Freelander 2 manages.

Sounds like it's running superbly thumbup

Just got mine back after a week at my pals having a full suspension & cooling system overhaul.

Drives like a new car now; if not better and handles superbly too

Interestingly the left indicator is now not working...

Swap to the old holder and it works but the brake doesn't.

New tyres ordered as down to about 2.4mm.

£700 later for four Goodyears. Expensive month!

Clearly got some issue with the electrics. I'm going through headlight bulbs like there is no tomorrow and my side light keeps failing. But then will work once it's turned off and on again. Odd.

Other than that it's going well. Just passed 124,000 miles.

Went for the 3s. For some reason I was struggling to find the 6s for the rears.

Something was up as I noticed under braking there wad a judder. That has gone now with the new tyres. Maybe wheel balance was out?

They're excellent tyres. Run the as my 'winters' and they're superb - very comfy/quiet etc and with great grip!

Braking judder is generally pad deposits on the discs or the front tension strut bush/ball joint is starting to fail...

See how it goes; if it comes back, start there
