Great car - stunning level of preparation! Can I be cheeky and ask how much you've spent on it?

Thanks for the positive comments lads. smile
Well i've spent a fair amount, but I have done it over a number of years of ownership, although it's only REALLY started to take shape recently into how I actually want it. The standard is now something i'm pleased with. Always wanted to do things properly and not cut corners and bodge, which sometimes mean it takes longer due to saving up etc, but the final outcome will be worth it. If I wasn't so indecisive it would've been MUCH cheaper!biggrin
I picked up my dyno chart for my new engine too. Please don't go asking me loads of technical questions about the spec as I don't have specific details on the internals, I literally asked Richard Longman for 200Bhp and he built it! It obviously has fully uprated internals such as forged pistons, steel rods etc etc, but I don't know cam durations or anything like that! It's 1.6 206 TU engine with proper pug sport intakes (throttle bodies), and it should do the business once it's in!! 8)

Also got my carbon surround back from Streamline Carbon for my Stack. I'm considering flocking the plastic too-what do you reckon? Here's the pics anyhow:

Very cool car, looks very nicely put together, and a 16v tu on bodies is a great prospect!

Normally stripped out cars look a bit ruff around the edges but the interior respray makes it look mint. Good job, the only problem with having a track toy this clean is that nagging feeling that you should be holding back on track to avoid breaking/bending/scratching it.

Absolutly stunning car with some great detail and effort put into it. You should be proud.

Especially as nearly every Saxo is chavved up, bet yours must drive better than a trophy !

Thanks again guys, appreciate the comments! smile
Right I got my cage back at last today-here are the pics. I also fitted my LHD wiper set up, changed back to standard lights (by popular demand lol) :P then drilled the holes in the rear to start installing the new fuel system. Also got carbon number plates, and offered up the stack to see how it looks. Busy day so far!! Anyways here are the pics-let me know what you think!! smile

Roll Cage with extra bars and gussett:

LHD Wiper Set Up:

And then I did the holes for the rear fuel lines, masked up, measured, then drilled. Also painted the holes with touch up paint after to prevent rust:

Then all tidied up and hoovered swarf!! 8)

Whats the benefit of the LHD wiper setup?

On pugs and citroens the wiper motor is directly above the intake so if you have throttle bodies and cut the scuttle the wiper motor is in the way. Example pics below:

RHD Set Up (scuttle not cut but you can see all the wiper gubbins in the way)

Hells Bells good effort sir !
Longman engine and an interior so immaculate you'll need to coat your race shoe soles in velvet !
200BHP Longman 1.6 ~ I'd guess some serious beer tokens spent !!!

Once you get it on the track you HAVE to post some vids !

Looks fantastic and 200hp must be absolutely insane in that car.

Nice sharp pictures as well, what camera are you using?

Great car!

Are you using it to compete?... just seems a bit expensive to use as a track tool if your not (refering to the 200+ bhp 1.6 eek). Well even if you are only using it for trackdays, it's is still a top car, and you can always move onto competition at a later date, if you wish.
