Good on you - if you can afford to spend the spare cash, all is well. yes

I think it's more special than Focus RS.

Those seats look comfy too. Interrior is stylish - simple yet functional.

I am really really impressed with these modds that you have made! First of all 288 brake out of a 1.5 turbo is pretty impressive but to also be able to get the mpg into the 50's at all is frankly amazing.
And all this whilst still keeping the car looking subtly understated

Hats off to you sir, you really have built quite the car! Will you be taking it out and about to any meets etc in the near future? I for one would love to see it in the flesh.

I live near Goodwood so will probably be at a number of the Breakfast Club meets this year or on the track for track days.

Cool smile, do you have any initial figures/estimations of 0-60 times etc?

Well, it should theoretically get to 60mph in 4.7 seconds and to 100 in 10.8. Will check that out when the roads aren't covered in snow. I'm predicting low 5's to 60mph as traction will probably preclude any massive standing starts. I'm going to take it to the Pod at some point this year too.

There are various figures bandied about but I think 1035 KG is the figure I see most. Once I've dropped the factory seats for some OMP shell seats, the rear seats and a few other items I think the car will be comfortably sub 1000 KG.

They post videos up on YouTube

I have price lists and such, they do kits from about £500 upwards from memory.

Had a ride in an XKR convertible that they had tuned, 160mph down the Autobahn with one of us sideways across the back seats! lol

I love this.

I have a real soft spot for the Abart 500 - a lady down the road has one in white and I think it's awesome.

288bhp is just mental!

[quote=Lagerlout]Hi all, his name is Spike and he has the following spec:

Next step is a cage, OMP seats, harnesses and for the summer a grippier wheel/tyre combo.

I think it will need a muzzle as well as a cage.

Thats mental!

When the weather is nicer you will have to see what it can do on the strip!

How about a lightweight battery too?

Fine car, got me thinking about buying one....

Brilliant project. If I had the money I would do the same.

All I ask is please do not do anything to the bodykit as it is so much better as a Q car.
