My Fiesta ST, slightly different
Discussion
Small update, new larger bore Miltek exhaust is on. The raspy sound has been replaced with a deep rumble which I'm praying won't be too droning on motorway miles, should find out this weekend. Car seems more eager to pull now. Intercooler has been replaced too
and 2 small changes, fog light surrounds painted and new badges
Have ordered some new brakes which should be arriving in about 10 weeks time
330mm 8 pot K-Sport kit with black calipers and black bells.

Cheers for the comments guys, few more bits and pieces planned in the pipe line
Sadly no performance figures yet, it was RR'd at 267bhp and 211lbft when the charger was first fitted but since then I've had a few other things done and to me it pulls a lot more, need to get it on the rolling road again and see what it's making now. Once the brakes are done towards the end of this year, i'll hopefully do some track days next year to make full use of the power
Isn't really much I can do now apart from cosmetic mods that doesn't involve large amounts of money (lower comp pistons, etc) which I don't really want do as feel the car has enough power, for me anyway. Plus the charger kits seem to sell well 2nd hand so I shouldn't be out of pocket too badly.

Very nice! Do you have any performance figures for it. I bet it is a bit of a handful non?
It's surprisingly well mannered as the power is very progressive. Saying that it will quite happily wheel spin in 2nd and 3rd on a damp road but that's a foot down to the floor moment. From a standing start, if you go to turn a corner and accelerate hard then it does torque steer a fair amount, I'm hoping a diff will sort that out later on, which I'll fit when the clutch needs replacing.Sadly no performance figures yet, it was RR'd at 267bhp and 211lbft when the charger was first fitted but since then I've had a few other things done and to me it pulls a lot more, need to get it on the rolling road again and see what it's making now. Yeah i've been playing with the ideas of getting the face lift head lights back on, the only issue is to smoke them you have to pull them apart and sometimes when you redo the seal it can leak, will see what comes up though.
Yeah the mud flaps we're an impulse buy haha but with the car sitting at its current height they look rather naff, car needs to be lower in my opinion to work.
Had an email from the brake people with an update which is nice, still a while to wait yet sadly
Car does go well, it's just the extra torque that's nice as the MK6 is the heaviest Fiesta they made.

Not much of an update I'm afraid. Brakes will be arriving in January as they have bumped my shipment from Sea to Air free of charge which was nice of them.
Painted my cam cover 'Wrinkle Black' as the red one looked naff and got dirty easily
At the same time I also re-routed that bloody power steering hose (as seen in the above picture) that ran across the top of the engine. It's now running behind the drivers side headlight, along the front of the car behind the bumper, where it goes through a Mondeo PAS cooler and up the other side to the PAS reservoir.
I purchased a Scangauge 2 to keep an eye on inlet temps along with other bits n bobs (fantastic bit of kit)
Which quickly showed that my inlet temps would get rather high on a normal run. Was a bit confused by this as the intercooler is always cold to the touch. It turns out that the Cosworth inlet likes to soak up engine heat and on a recent RR day, the car only made 230bhp with inlet temps reaching 50 degrees and higher before I called it quits.
So I ordered a thermal inlet gasket from Ferriday Engineering which arrived
only for me to promptly discover that it wouldn't fit due to the Cosworth inlet having an opening for the EGR valve as you can see below
a quick email to Ferriday and they designed and cut me a custom thermal inlet gasket for the same price as their standard duratec one (no pictures yet I'm afraid although it arrived the next day), excellent service.
For the past few weeks I've been driving the car with the EGR valve unplugged from the ECU as you can only use the thermal gasket with it disconnected. Luckily I've not had any ECU errors so I believe blanking it off won't be an issue. I ordered an EGR blanking plate from eBay and noticed that in order to remove the EGR valve I'd have to remove one of the main coolant pipes and drain the coolant, so decided to replace it and another with Roose Motorsport items in red
That's it really until next year, apart from replacing my rear ABS sensors as one has gone pop along with a wheel bearing, nothing really major.
